An unplanned visit was one of the highlights of Munich. The Deutsches Museum is run-of-the-mill-sounding museum of science and industry. One expects lots of colorful toys and action games for hordes of noisy children. We went there only because we had a couple of hours to kill before the beer museum opened.
Well this is the best one we have ever seen. Made for adults! Good for the Germans. We didn't get photos of all the exhibits but here are some of the exquisite models of medieval construction and machinery.
